Police: Teen held at gunpoint, tied up during Northborough home invasion

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Police in Northborough are searching for two men accused of tying up a teen and then stealing collectibles from inside the victim's Whitney Street home.

Police were alerted to the alleged home invasion at 29 Whitney St. about 1 p.m. Tuesday. The 17-year-old victim told police the two suspects, who were known to the teen from previous work done at the home, knocked at the door of the multi-family home at about 11:30 a.m.

The teen let the men inside and went to get one of the suspects a glass of water at which point that man pulled on gun on him and then tied him up. As one of the suspects watched the teen, the other went around the house stealing various items and collectibles.

The victim told police the men fled in a gold or silver Infiniti.

According to police, there was a significant delay in reporting the crime.

One of the victims is described as a white male and the other suspect is described as a black male.

While police have leads in the case, anyone with information is asked to contact the Northborough Police Dept. at 508-393-1515.

An investigation is ongoing.
