Police are looking for a missing Hampton, New Hampshire, couple who never returned to their assisted living facility after an they went to an appointment in Mass. on Tuesday.

Hampton police said Dave and Ona Magee, who are both 86 years old, were last seen leaving an appointment in Dracut, Mass., at 3 p.m. on Tuesday and failed to return to their assisted living facility in Hampton, New Hampshire.

The couple is believed to be in a rental car -- a 2019 silver Subaru Outback -- with the Tennessee license plate 5R96FL.

Police say the couple is familiar with the Merrimack Valley and the Salem, New Hampshire, area.

Dave Magee was wearing a yellow sweater and blue shorts, and Ona Magee was wearing a blue zip-up jacket and black pants that have white stripes down the side of them.
