Police: Northbridge man shot, drives to gas station for help

NORTHBRIDGE, Mass. — Police are investigating after a man was shot Wednesday night before driving himself to a gas station for help.

The Worcester District Attorney's office said the police received a call from a store clerk at Cumberland Farms on Providence Road around 9:30 p.m. He said that a man showed up bleeding and appeared to have been shot. The victim was transported to a local hospital and is being treated.

Police think the man was shot somewhere else and drove to the gas station.
