• Police: N.J. man dies after losing control, crashing motorcycle in Newton


    NEWTON, Mass. - A New Jersey man was killed in a motorcycle wreck Friday afternoon in the interchange between the Massachusetts Turnpike and Route 128 (I-95). 

    The 80-year-old man lost control and left the roadway while moving through the interchange on the Newton-Weston line, police said. 

    The man, who has not yet been identified, was driving a 2014 Harley-Davidson tricycle. 

    Police are investigating what caused the man to lose control. 

    He was taken to Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital in Newton, where he was pronounced dead. 

    One lane of traffic was closed during the investigation.
