WESTWOOD, Mass. — Police are investigating after a father and son were struck by a vehicle on Pond Street in Westwood Sunday afternoon.
The crash happened near Temple Beth David around 2:30 p.m. and several pedestrians were in the crosswalk near Lakeshore Drive at the time.
Two of the pedestrians, a father and son, were taken to separate Boston hospitals for "varying degrees of serious injuries."

Police said one car was involved in the crash and the preliminary information indicates it was accidental, but there is no final determination about possible charges at this time.
