Man charged for alleged fatally shooting 60-year-old Londonderry man

LONDONDERRY, N.H. — A man has been charged in the killing of a 60-year-old man who was found dead in Londonderry.

New Hampshire Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald announced that Brandon Castiglione, 24, was arrested for the Monday killing of Luis Garcia at home on Ridgemont Drive.

The Chief Medical Examiner determined Garcia died from a single gunshot wound to the neck, ruling his death as a homicide.

Castiglione is facing a charge of second-degree murder for Garcia's death "under circumstances manifesting an extreme indifference to the value of human life," according to a news release.

The attorney general's office said the investigation ongoing.

Castiglione is expected to be arraigned in Rockingham Superior Court Wednesday.

Anyone with information is asked to call New Hampshire State Police Sgt. Stephen Sloper at 603-628-8477.
