LEXINGTON, Mass. - Police are investigating after a pedestrian was hit and killed by a tractor-trailer on Interstate 95 north in Lexington early Friday.
Massachusetts State Police said a 40-year-old truck driver from Northampton, Pennsylvania was driving north on I-95 between exits 30A and 30B at 3:45 a.m. when he hit a man in the roadway.
The man was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

State police are investigating the crash, including why the man was in the road. The man has not yet been identified.
No charges have been filed.
