The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authority board voted Tuesday to forward findings from an internal investigation concerning 26-year board member George Dixon III to the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor's Office, the Ohio Auditor's Office and The Ohio Ethics Commission.
Dixon was the lone RTA board member to receive health benefits. The agency says it rejected Dixon's offer to repay $141,000 in overdue premiums and wants to collect around $970,000 it paid for Dixon's medical, dental and vision benefits.
A message seeking comment was left Wednesday at Dixon's home.
