BOSTON — We're in for a warm winter, according to scientists with the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
NOAA just released its winter outlook, saying the lower 48 states will see above-average temperatures.
Researchers are predicting the northeast will be wetter than normal. They also say when a storm comes, it could be worse than normal.
However, forecasters did say they are less confident in these predictions than normal and we could see a lot of swings in temperature and precipitation.
