ASHBURNHAM, Mass. — No one was hut when an SUV crashed into a barber shop in Ashburnham Tuesday.
Police said the driver of a Subaru Forester was pulling into a parking space at Donna's Barber Shop on Central Street around 1 p.m. when she hit the gas pedal instead of the brake pedal. The SUV crashed through a wall and came to a stop inside the building.
Donna D'Apolito was giving a haircut at the time, but she and her customer weren't in the spot where the SUV entered the building.
The shop is closed for repairs.
Liz Rollo owns Loose Ends Hair Studio around the corner. She said she finished Donna's customer's haircut.
