AMESBURY, Mass. — Massachusetts State Police have identified the victim of a fatal single-vehicle crash that occurred Saturday on Route 495 North in Amesbury, according to a release from the department.
At 9:30 p.m., MSP Newbury Barracks investigating single-vehicle, single-occupant fatal crash Rte. 495 N/B at X54 in #Amesbury. MSP Recon and Photo on scene. No lane closures at this time. Cause under investigation.

According to officials, Sabrina Milone, 21, of Garden City, N.Y. died from injuries sustained after she crashed around 9:30 p.m. on Saturday night near Exit 54 on I-495.

Milone was operating a 2015 Jeep Wrangler when, for reasons still unknown to investigators, she veered off the road and crashed. She was transported to Anna Jaques Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries. There were no other individuals in the car during the time of the crash.
State Police are still investigating the fatal crash along with officials from the Essex County District Attorney's Office. Amesbury Police, Fire and EMS also responded to the scene.
