Motorcycle crash causes traumatic injuries for Rockland man

COHASSET, Mass. — A Rockland man suffered traumatic injuries as a result of a motorcycle crash in Cohasset, according to local police. The crash occurred Sunday afternoon on Route 3A in the town.

The 21-year-old was transported to South Shore Hospital by local paramedics. Officials have not released the man’s identity.

According to law enforcement, the motorist crashed his 2018 Kawasaki into a large pile of wood around 1:40 p.m. after veering off the southbound road into the parking lot of a tree service business. That lot is located at 825 Chief Justice Cushing Highway in Cohasset.

Local police are investigating the crash. Speed does not appear to be a factor.
