Do you know a volunteer working to improve or enhance outdoor spaces in your community? Then be sure to nominate them for the Cox Conserves Heroes Award!
Boston 25 and our parent company, Cox Enterprises, have teamed up with The Trust for Public Land to recognize local environmental volunteers.
For the past four years, we’ve awarded $70,000 to continue local park improvements, river cleanups, marine habitat restoration, trail clearing projects and more!
The Boston 25 Cox Conserves Heroes program is accepting nominations through July 31. One local winner will be selected to receive a $10,000 grant for the environmental nonprofit of their choice.
The grant is awarded by the James M. Cox Foundation, affiliated with Boston 25’s parent company. The James M. Cox Foundation will also award $50,000 to the national winner’s nonprofit of choice!
You can learn all about eligibility and nominate a Boston area environmental volunteer by completing a brief online form at coxconservesheroes.com.
National voting starts Oct. 1st, and anyone can nominate at the local level or cast a ballot for their favorite finalist in the national competition.
The local winner will be announced in September and the national competition winner will be announced in late October.
