Hollis, a 19-year-old sophomore at Emerson and Hopedale High School graduate, spent nearly a week in the hospital with a severe head injury before being removed from life support.

Boston Police announced they were investigating his death as a homicide and identified a person of interest as U.S. Marine reservist Lance Corporal Samuel London.

Students tell us Friday was about honoring Hollis' life.

"It was really beautiful. It was just really nice to hear what people had to say about him. It feels like I know him better somehow," said Henry Tyndall.

We checked in with Boston Police and the DA's Office, but they did not have an update on the investigation.
