Police searching for SUV after multiple shots fired in Chelsea

CHELSEA, Mass. — Police are looking for an SUV in connection with a shooting in Chelsea where at least two dozen shots were fired, hitting parked cars and a home Monday.

Chief Brian Kyes said police were investigating a shooting in the area of Clark Avenue and Lawrence Street involving an SUV seen leaving the area. No one was injured, but "several rounds of ammunition" were fired, damaging cars and a house, Kyes said.

Chelsea Police say the shooting was not a random attack.

Police are looking for a small maroon or red SUV that was captured on video leaving the scene with no lights on. Anyone with information is asked to call Chelsea police at 617-466-4835.
