• Bullet breaks window at Boston police headquarters

BOSTON (AP) - A bullet has pierced an upper-floor window of Boston police headquarters, but no one was injured.

The bullet went through a window at the rear of the building in the city's Roxbury neighborhood just before 7 p.m. Monday.

Detective Sgt. John Boyle says it's unclear if the building was targeted or if it was a stray bullet.

There is a park and an apartment complex behind the building.

Officers searched the area after the shooting, but no arrests had been announced.
