BOSTON — Boston Police are currently investigating the death of a man injured in a double shooting in Roslindale.
Homicide detectives were on scene in the area of 581 American Legion Highway on Thursday afternoon where gunfire erupted just after 2 p.m., prompting a nearby school to go into "safe mode."
At the scene, officers found two adult men suffering from gunshot wounds. Both victims were transported to an area hospital, where one of the victims later died from his injuries.

The second victim is being treated for what appear to be non-life threatening injuries.
Although police say there is no current threat to the public, the shooting prompted nearby Haley School to go into safe mode, meaning no one was allowed in or out.
