Man suffers life-threatening injuries after being stabbed in front of TD Garden

BOSTON — A man was stabbed just feet from the entrance of TD Garden and North Station in Boston, sustaining life-threatening injuries Monday night, per police.

Homicide detectives are here on scene piecing together what led up to the stabbing and also trying to figure out who carried out the violent act and why. Police say that no arrests have been made yet.

The scene in this busy area was sprawling with police activity since the incident happened around 8 p.m. on Monday right outside the Citizen Boutique Hotel. Guests there have had to be escorted by police.

A Bruins jersey could be seen on the ground on Causeway Street, taped in the area that investigators seemed to be focusing much of their attention on.

Police added that they will be checking surveillance cameras in the area to see if there's any footage that could provide some more answers.

The man who was stabbed was rushed to the hospital.
