Man charged with breaking into Brookline Town Hall

BROOKLINE, Mass. — Brookline Police have charged a man with breaking into Town Hall Monday evening.

Officers were conducting a “special attention assignment” around 11:45 p.m. that was prompted by recent reports of people trespassing at Town Hall after hours.

During a check of the building, the officers found an unsecured door.

The officers checked the building and found a man sitting in an office on the first floor. They arrested him.

The unnamed man is charged with Breaking and Entering at nighttime with intent to commit a misdemeanor.
