A look at Cape Cod’s priciest property on the market for $25M

WOODS HOLE, Mass. — A massive Woods Hole mansion is on the market for a massive price tag.

The 9.6-acre estate on the tip of Penzance Point overlooks both Great Harbor of Woods Hole and Buzzards Bay.

The Cape Cod-style beach home, which measures in at over 9,000 square feet, was built by Rhode Island architect Michele Foster.

Its property includes a main residence, a guesthouse, gardens, a boathouse with a deepwater dock and a 36-foot swimming pool.

The asking price of $25 million makes it the Cape’s most expensive home currently on the market. If it sells for the asking price, it would set a record for Cape Cod homes.

Former owner James Clark died in 2015. He was an advisor and benefactor of the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution.

The home includes an incredible array of recreational, relaxing and professional amenities.
