Acton man dies weeks after being injured in motorcycle crash

ACTON, Mass. — A man has passed away as a result of injuries sustained during a motorcycle crash in Acton on October 31st.

Acton Police say the crash happened on Great Road around 12:00 p.m. when a Subaru Forester traveling eastbound and a motorcycle traveling westbound collided.

The driver of the motorcycle was identified as 64-year-old Philip Keyes. He was transported to Boston Medical Center via medical flight and passed on November 16th.

The driver of the Subaru Forester was an 82-year-old Chelmsford woman. She remained on scene and is cooperating with law enforcement.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by Acton Police and the Middlesex DA’s Office.

No charges have been filed.
