BRAINTREE, Mass. — Neighbors on River Street were stunned to walk out of their homes Saturday and see that a tractor trailer had crashed into a house.
“I just heard this really loud thundering noise and me, Mom and Dad just ran up, I called 911,” said Zach Fillmore.
No injuries were reported. Emergency crews responded to the scene after receiving a 911 call reporting the crash at 6:10 p.m. Saturday.
According to people living on this street, there was no person in the tractor trailer when it crashed, but there were two dogs inside.

Neighbors said the driver was in another vehicle parked nearby, and ran over, after it rolled down a hill.
“A gentleman that lives in the white house over there, him and me got up in the cab seeing if we can help somebody, open up the cab and there were two chocolate labs looking at us,” said Glenn Fillmore.
Bob Joyce, who lives nearby on Middle Street, said just hours earlier, he called 911 to report that same tractor trailer.
“I called the Braintree police at 4:53,” Joyce said.
He said he alerted police that the tractor trailer was parked in front of his house and was leaking fluid into the road.

A neighbor’s Ring video captured the vehicle parked there just after 4 p.m.
“You can see the fluid still on the street. It’s all over the street,” Joyce said.
He said sand was put over the fluid and the vehicle was then driven to the top of the hill.
Emergency crews were on scene at the house following the crash.
Tire marks could be seen in nearby grass, showing where the truck went down a hill before crashing into the Colonial-style home.
The truck crashed into the home, breaking siding, to the right of the home’s front entrance door.
“This is crazy. He should have never driven that vehicle. Absolutely crazy,” Joyce said.
