BOSTON — It’s Boston Marathon weekend! There are many events going on this weekend in Boston Marathon related, but if you’re looking to do something different, we have a few ideas.
Swan Boats
Hope aboard the swan boats. The grand opening for the season is Saturday at 11 a.m, with the first rides following at 11:30. For hours and pricing information, click here.
Marathon Daffodil Dash
If your kids aren’t quite ready to take on the Boston Marathon yet, how about the second annual Marathon Daffodil Dash? It’s happening on Saturday at Suffolk Downs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a series of kids’ races, music, games, and food. This event is free, but registration is required. Head to the website to sign up.
Quincy Spring Fest
For more spring fun, consider going to Quincy for the City’s Spring Fest. It’s happening Saturday, April 15th from Noon to 6 p.m. on Hancock Adams Common. This free event features live performances, arts and crafts demonstrations, food trucks, and more. Visit the website for more information.
