State to make booster shots available at Fenway Park starting January 6

BOSTON — If you haven’t gotten your booster shot, you will soon be able to get it at Fenway Park.

The Red Sox are working with the Baker administration to finalize plans to make booster shots available at Fenway Park for Massachusetts residents.

The site opens January 6.

The Fenway Park vaccine and booster clinic will have the capacity to administer 1,300 doses daily.

Appointments are available now by visiting vaxfinder.mass.gov with walk ins also accepted. Language translation services will be available on site.

Earlier in the year, Fenway was used as a mass vaccination site through the state for first and second-dose shots.

The news comes as the state continues to encourage residents to get vaccinated - and boosted - as cases climb.
