According to Waltham Police, a “suspicious incident” happened in the area of 5 Judith Lane on Friday morning just after 9 a.m.
Responding officers found two men leaving the building, one fleeing on foot and another in a car that had been parked about 200 yards away, where the driver left it before leaving on foot.
Authorities say they believe those suspects broke into on of the apartments in the complex.
However, even after canvassing the area with K-9s and drones, police were not able to find the suspects. Further investigation showed a gun was stolen from the house.
Waltham officials continue to actively investigate this incident. Anyone with any questions or information that could be helpful for police can contact Det. Sgt. King at 781-314-3554
(2/2) Due to the early stages of the investigation no further information will be available at this moment.
