Red Sox vs. White Sox game postponed due to winterlike storm

BOSTON — The Red Sox game against Chicago White Sox scheduled for Friday, April 16, at Fenway Park at 7:10 p.m. has been postponed.

The game was postponed due to winter-like weather conditions as calls continue to come in for periods of snow and rain for the afternoon into the evening.

Officials announced that the game has been rescheduled as the second game of a split doubleheader on Sunday, April 18, starting at 5:10 p.m. Friday’s tickets will for allowed for admission for the rescheduled contest.

Fenway Park is expected to reopen its gates about 45 minutes before 5:10 p.m. at 4:25 p.m., and Sunday’s regularly scheduled game remains at 1:10 p.m.
