Pair of pedestrians hospitalized after being hit by car in Cambridge

CAMBRIDGE — Two pedestrians have been hospitalized with potentially serious injuries after being hit by a car on Sunday night in Cambridge, according to the Mass. State Police.

The crash happened just before 8:30 p.m. Sunday in the area of Monsignor O’Brien Highway and Land Boulevard.

The victims were transported to Mass. General Hospital while the driver of the car involved remained on scene, state police said. An investigation is ongoing.
