Londonderry Police investigating after 2-year-old dies in NH

LONDONDERRY, N.H. — Londonderry Police are actively investigating the death of a child, and they’re calling this death suspicious.

Londonderry police say they were called to the RMZ truck stop on Rockingham Road Monday morning for an unresponsive child.

When they arrived, they found a 2-year-old girl unconscious inside a parked car.

A police sergeant gave her CPR until paramedics arrived, and then the girl was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead.

“I’m just working here and just my register we’re watching a lot of police cars and like three ambulances, that’s it,” said Bob Patel, who works at the gas station where police found the little girl.

Patel says officers came inside the gas station to look at security footage, but he learned nothing else about the investigation.

“They only watched the cameras, they didn’t ask any questions, watched the cameras and left,” said Patel.

Police say an autopsy was performed Tuesday on this little girl, but the cause of her death has not yet been released.

Anyone with information on the investigation is asked to contact Detective Sergeant Daniel Hurley at 603-425-5922, or at dhurley@londonderrynhpd.org. Those who wish to remain anonymous can call 603-432-1118.
