Grafton police say missing 12-year-old girl has been found

GRAFTON, Mass. — Update: Grafton police said just before 9 a.m. that the 12-year-old girl who was reported missing on Thursday night was found safe in the neighborhood near where she was last seen. Police said she was being evaluated but would not release any further information.

The Grafton Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in finding a missing 12-year-old girl.

Madeline Veech left her residence in the Bruce Hollow housing complex at approximately 5 p.m., police said.

Madeline was last seen wearing a blue jacket with hood and black leggings. She is described as having medium length brown hair, most often worn in a ponytail, brown eyes, standing approximately 4 feet 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 80 pounds.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Madeline is asked to call Grafton Police at 508-839-2858.
