Fugitive arrested in stabbing of a WRTA bus driver in Worcester

WORCESTER, Mass. — Worcester Police have arrested the man wanted for the stabbing of a WRTA bus driver earlier this week.

Dashaun Stokes-Sims was placed under arrest at the Worcester Police station, according to WPD.

Police say Stokes-Sims stabbed the WRTA bus driver on board his bus on Wednesday on Lincoln Street.

He was arrested on a warrant for Armed Assault with Intent to Murder, Mayhem, and Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon Causing Serious Bodily Injury.
