BOSTON — Firefighters were battling a multi-alarm fire on Howard Street in Dorchester on Friday night, fire officials said.
The fire went to three alarms around 8 p.m., after a 2nd alarm was struck around 7:35 p.m. at 141 & 145 Howard St., according to the Boston Fire Department.

Firefighters were working to put out pockets of fire in the roof of the three-story, wood-frame building.
