PLYMOUTH, Mass — A fire damaged a home in Plymouth overnight.
The fire started at 1 a.m. at the home on Halfway Pond Road.
Firefighters received a 9-1-1- call and the people inside the home said the fire started on the backside of the house.
All the people were able to get out safely, but two rabbits died and a cat is missing.
The fire chief says that getting water was difficult due to a lack of hydrants in the area.
Crews are still investigating the cause of the fire
