The filming of “Good Burger 2″ set to begin in Rhode Island later this month

PROVIDENCE, RI — If you grew up watching Nickelodeon in the 90s and you’re able to energetically say “Welcome to Good Burger, home of the Good Burger,” then you may have a shot of appearing as an extra in the sequel to the 1997 classic hit which is set to film in Rhode Island later this month.

‘Good Burger 2′ is set to begin filming on May 18th, according to Rhode Island Film officials.

The Rhode Island Film & Television Office confirmed in a social media post earlier this week that Boston Casting is in search of actors and extras for the movie.

One filming location will be at the old Friendly’s Restaurant in North Providence. Another location where filming will take place is at the former North Providence Police Station.

“We’re going to have visitors, as we did with ‘hocus pocus two’, from all over the world coming to Rhode Island just to get a glimpse of the filming,” said Steven Feinberg, Rhode Island film and TV office.

“Good Burger 2″ will eventually be available to stream on Paramount+.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates as more information becomes available.
