Victims of police violence honored by family of Easton college student killed by police in New York

BOSTON — The family of DJ Henry, an Easton-native killed by police in New York, held an event to honor victims of police violence on Sunday.

Henry was shot and killed by a former police officer in the fall of 2010 while in New York attending Pace University.

Demonstrators kneeled for eight minutes and 46 seconds at the Rose Kennedy Greenway for the event organized by DJ’s sister Amber.

That’s the same amount of time a Minnesota Police Officer kneeled on George Floyd’s neck in May resulting in his death.
