Family asking for help finding NH woman last seen in January

NASHUA, N.H. — Police in New Hampshire are asking for help locating a woman who has been missing for more than a month.

“She’s my mother, she loved me very well. She loved anyone that she talked to,” said Isiah Bugg.

Bugg is April Bailey’s son and for more than a month, he and his family and friends have been looking for her. The 36-year-old was last seen at her Lynn Street apartment in Nashua, New Hampshire on Jan. 15, 2020. She was reported missing five days later.

“She wouldn’t go missing, she wouldn’t not talk to us,” said Bugg.

Bailey’s family told Boston 25 News reporter Bob Ward that each day that goes by without any contact, they grow more concerned.

Nashua Police Lt. Dan Mederos told Ward there have been no sightings since.

“We have detectives assigned. This is an active and open missing persons investigation,” said Mederos.

He said detectives are looking into April’s past for clues.

“We are trying to dig deep into April’s background to really determine what was going on in her life at the time she disappeared and to see if that would be any significance into what we need to look into,” said Mederos.

For Bugg and his family, they just want to know where she is.

“She’s my mom. She would never not talk to me if I ever reached out, she would answer in a heartbeat.”

Anyone with information on April Bailey’s whereabouts should call Nashua Police at (603)-594-3500.
