Driver hospitalized after allegedly crashing into 7-Eleven in Lynn

LYNN, Mass. — A driver is suffering injuries after crashing their vehicle into a 7-Eleven in Lynn early Sunday morning.

The Lynn Police Department told Boston 25 News crews were alerted to the crash at approximately 4:20 a.m. Sunday. They arrived at 3 Lynnfield Street, where they found the driver who was suffering from injuries.

Police believe the driver was traveling down Broadway Street before crashing into the 7-Eleven.

The extent of the driver’s injuries is still unknown, but they were sent to a nearby hospital following the crash. There are no other reported injuries at this time.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Lynn Police Department.
