Boston approves hundreds of permits for outdoor dining

BOSTON — It has been announced that more and more patios are going up on Newbury Street. This latest development comes after a full two weeks of outdoor dining in Boston.

Boston 25 was told the city of Boston has already approved more than 400 outdoor dining permits. Last year, Boston approved more than 550 requests.

This is a step forward for many restaurants in Beantown that have been struggling this past year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
