BOSTON — A spokesperson for Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker said in a statement Wednesday the governor “cannot support” Donald Trump for president.
“The governor cannot support Donald Trump for president and is focused on seeing Massachusetts through the pandemic. He’ll leave the election analysis to the pundits.”
— Lizzy Guyton, Communications Director
During a press conference on the budget Wednesday afternoon, Baker was asked how he will be casting his vote this election.
He told reporters he had not decided, and also dodged when asked who he will be supporting for president.
When asked if he wouldn’t vote at all, Baker replied “We’ll see.”
The statement from his administration was released hours later.
