BOSTON — Amtrak service in the Northeast Corridor is seeing major disruptions after Tropical Storm Isaias raved the Atlantic Coast Tuesday.
Hundreds of thousands were left without power and the damage caused Amtrak to halt its service between Boston and New York.
After a flurry of train cancellations early Wednesday morning, all service was halted along the route between Boston and New York due to “overhead power issues.”
There was no immediate word on when service would resume.
SERVICE ADVISORY: Due to ongoing overhead power issues caused by severe weather, all service between Boston (BOS) and New York (NYP) is canceled. We will update as more information becomes available.
