It’s time for the weekend and it’s the weekend before St. Patrick’s Day and Massachusetts is bleeding green.
Yarmouth St. Patricks Day Parade
If you only think of visiting the cape during beach season, maybe this will change your mind.
Yarmouth’s Annual St. Patrick’s day parade happens on Saturday at 11 a.m. The two-mile parade will wind its way right through downtown Yarmouth and it’s bound to be a lot of fun. Check the website for more info.
Worcester St. Patricks Day Parade
If the Cape is too far, head over to Worcester. The City’s St. Patrick’s day parade happens Sunday at 12 p.m.
The parade travels along Park Avenue starting in the Mill Street area and ending on Highland Street.
You’ll want to arrive early to get a good spot, all the details on parking and the route can be found here.
Patriot Place Irish Festival
If parades aren’t celebratory enough for you, head to Foxboro to enjoy the Patriot Place 12th Annual Irish Festival.
It happens on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine. You can enjoy live music, Irish step dancing, and even shopping from Irish merchants. Find all the details here.
