23-year-old woman killed in crash in Bourne, state police say

BOURNE, Mass. — Police have identified a 23-year-old woman was died in a single-car crash on Thursday as Cassandra Williams, of Stoughton.

Massachusetts State Police responded to reports of a car crash around 3:15 p.m. on Route 25 eastbound by exit 3. A preliminary investigation showed that a 2014 Nissan Sentra left the roadway and crashed.

Williams was transported to Tobey Hospital where she was pronounced dead.

The crash is under investigation.

Massachusetts State Police troopers were assisted by Massachusetts DOT, Bourne Fire and EMS, and Wareham EMS.
