HANCOCK, N.H. — In a brazen break in that would make Goldilocks blush, a black bear was caught snacking in a New Hampshire family’s home early Monday morning.
The Hancock Police Department said the large bear broke into a house on Old Dublin Road around 1:00 a.m. and began snacking in the kitchen. There were no reported injuries to the homeowners or their pets, according to police, but their pantry may have suffered some heavy losses.
Authorities have reported the details of the house break to New Hampshire Fish and Games. Hancock Police are asking residents in the area to remain vigilant.
