SOMERVILLE, Mass. — Three buildings were badly damaged in a large fire Thursday night.
The flames started in a group of row houses on Rush Street around 9 p.m. There were 18 people home when the fire began. Fortunately, everyone was able to make it out.
"Seeing the people coming out of their house...they looked kind of scared," said an 11-year-old resident. "I was shaking."
The Somerville fire chief tells FOX25 that one person was taken to the hospital for minor burns to the face. One firefighter also needed to be checked out on the scene after some debris fell into his eyes.
There has been no word on a cause.
