Large fire destroys Somerville apartments

SOMERVILLE, Mass. — Three buildings were badly damaged in a large fire Thursday night.

The flames started in a group of row houses on Rush Street around 9 p.m. There were 18 people home when the fire began. Fortunately, everyone was able to make it out.

"Seeing the people coming out of their house...they looked kind of scared," said an 11-year-old resident. "I was shaking."
