White House vaccine advisors speak with Boston 25 about eligibility, availability and equity

BOSTON — Monday, April 19, was a big day for vaccine distribution. In Massachusetts, and all across the country, people age 16 and older are now eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine.

Boston 25 News anchor and investigative reporter Kerry Kavanaugh spoke with two doctors who are vaccine advisors to the White House, Dr. Bechara Choucair, White House Vaccinations Coordinator, and Dr. Cameron Webb, Senior Policy Advisor for COVID-19 Equity.

They spoke about vaccine availability, equity in distribution and the ramifications of the pause of the one-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine.
