Former NH teacher, coach allegedly sexually assaulted multiple students

CONCORD, NH (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A Concord, New Hampshire man is in jail on allegations he sexually assaulted multiple students while working as a teacher and football coach.

Merrimack County Sheriff's deputies arrested 30-year-old Donald Levesque last week on charges including possession of child pornography, endangering the welfare of a child, and aggravated sexual assault.

Levesque, who worked at Shaker Road School, a private school in Concord for a handful of years, faced a judge Monday afternoon during a bail hearing.

In court, prosecutors told the judge Levesque continued to engage in sexual activity with at least one of his victims even after he learned he was under criminal investigation. Investigators said Levesque filmed one alleged victim performing a sex act, and also exchanged sexually explicit photos and texts with his victims.

One victim reportedly told investigators they met with Levesque several times, over a period of months, sometimes in Levesque's car, where the sexual assault would occur, according to court documents. Levesque worked at Shaker Road School since 2010, according to his biography on the website, and was involved with the school's "Camp Shaker" program for over a decade as both a camper and counselor.

Levesque also coached football and soccer at Shaker Road School, according to the website.

Prosecutors said Levesque met at least one of his alleged victims while working at Shaker Road.

Monday, the school's headmaster Douglas Hicks told FOX25 he had no knowledge of the investigation or any alleged victims, and said Levesque had resigned from his teaching position more than a year ago.

Levesque was represented in court by attorney Ray Raimo, who is also the president of the Concord Capitols youth football program, where Levesque also reportedly was a coach.

Raimo did not return FOX25's calls for comment about Levesque's involvement with the program.
