Fire suppression malfunction creates a mess in Bridgewater

BRIDGEWATER, Mass. — A fire suppression system at a gas station in Bridgewater malfuncation on Wednesday afternoon and made a sunny spring day look more like a winter wonderland.

Sandra Widberg Kinnealey shared photos with Boston 25 News that show fire suppressant chemicals creating a white cloud in front of the GO gas station on Broad Street (Route 18).

Fire Chief Thomas Levy told Boston 25 News there was no fire and no one was hurt.

The gas station has been shut down until repairs are made.
