• FD: 2 BMWs found engulfed in flames in Manchester, NH alley


    MANCHESTER, N.H. - Two cars went up in flames and a third was catching fire early Tuesday morning in Manchester, New Hampshire, according to the fire department. 

    Residents near the fire caught a video of two BMWs burning in the alley behind 197 Grove Street around 4:00 a.m. Tuesday morning. 

    Firefighters were called to the scene shortly before 4:30 and they said they found two BMW cars in flames, with a third vehicle catching fire and two nearby homes close to catching. 

    Crews worked quickly to put the flames out, but say they witnessed several explosions as the cars burned. There were also reportedly downed powerlines nearby. 

    The fire department estimated the damage around $30,000 and said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
