FBI warning cities of terror threat around Thanksgiving, Inauguration

The FBI is warning law enforcement nationwide about a concern of terrorist activity around Thanksgiving and the inauguration.

In a statement released to FOX25, the Boston FBI said, "While there is no specific threat information about possible attacks in our area as we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, law enforcement and members of the public must remain guarded."

The warning cites concerns about Paris-like attacks at places like shopping malls and special events.

Folks at Faneuil Hall Friday night were virtually unfazed by the FBI's warning, saying what they're cautioning is already a way of life.

"It's unfortunate, but I think little by little we're all growing to accept that," said John Nucci.

Boston Police officers were added to Faneuil Hall's private security for the tree lighting. They once again remind the public that if they see something, say something.
