East Boston man accused of robbing Chelsea bank

CHELSEA, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A 52-year-old man was arrested for allegedly robbing a bank Friday.

On Friday, police responded to a robbery at Chelsea Bank. Employees told officers that a man entered the bank and demanded money, after threatening the a bank teller. The man received money and fled, said police.

Based on the description given to officers, they were able to find him on city of Chelsea surveillance cameras. They saw the man, Luis Bonilla, go into a restaurant on Everett Avenue, said police.

Units responded to the restaurant and arrested Bonilla. Police said they found cash on him at the time of the arrest.

Bonilla has been charged with unarmed robbery.
