Driver smashes car into driving school wall

NORTH READING, Mass. — A person drove their car into the wall of a driving school building on Saturday, North Reading Police said.

The incident happened at around 2 p.m. at 324 Main Street.

Officials said the driver was not a student at the driving school, but rather someone who had been turning around in the parking lot and accidentally struck the building.

A student inside the building was transported to Lahey Hospital for treatment of minor injuries following the crash.

The driver of the car, as well as the passenger, were not hospitalized.

The incident remains under investigation.
